Myth: You can't get pregnant during your period
It's not likely, but there's always a chance. Ovulation can be unpredictable and so can menstrual cycles. So, practice safe sex!

Myth: You should rest during your period and avoid exercise
Regular exercise helps to decrease painful menstrual cramps as it increases the supply of oxygen to your muscles.

Myth: Your period should last for exactly one week
Everyone's period is different. It's perfectly natural for a period to last anywhere between three to seven days. Incase you are missing your period, check with your doctor.

Myth: Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is all in the mind
PMS is a combination of physical and emotional symptoms that many women get after ovulation and before the start of their menstrual period. Symptoms can be emotional like irritability, depression or fatigue, and physical - cramps or headaches.
